Thank you for becoming a Founding Member, Lauren. The first day support feels incredible. Someone from ARRAY will be in touch about your goodies! Major props to you because you became an FM before we even announced the goodies! Thank you! xo
I’m interested in writing our black history without white washing it. A white lady told me when she read my outline. That I needed to whitewash it. She actually said. We haven’t spoke. Yet
I’m so glad to see you here. You are truly inspiring. I’ve been having a recurring dream about what would have happened if Africans came to America because they chose to in order to create an America working with the indigenous people instead of being slaves fighting and winning against European colonialism. Imagine what this alliance would look like.
Lol, you're very welcome. This is the time to buy ALL the history books before they get banned. This is also the time to turn towards and support our Griots like @Ava DuVernay, Ryan Coogler, and all the rest that will be coming to teach under the "Baobab Tree."
Well THAT’S AMAZING! American history has been sooooo whitewashed that this kind of information is suppressed. I just wonder where we’d be if slavery never happened. What if racism was destroyed BEFORE colonizers were able to justify slavery using religion. I’d watch that movie.
I am a protest singer, but I'm really just a regular guy trying to make a difference in the
world through my music. I am new, so you won't see a lot about me yet, but you can check out my protest songs under the artist "The Last Protest Singer" on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc. Believe it or not, I really don't care a lot about making money, fame, etc. for myself. Hence the anonymous name. But I WOULD LOVE to have my music help our country and our world, starting with next year's mid-term elections. I am still a bit of an amateur, but I believe my songs are quite good and can help "the cause." I would even be open to another artist using these songs (and others that are coming) in a way that would assist not only the progressive movement, but our country as a whole. I believe we can "create community," as you discussed, Ava, by UNITING individuals through music!! Please let me know what you think. You can message me under "The Last Protest Singer" on Facebook. Thanks so much, and LET'S GET STARTED!!
You've made a number of informed points on this platform and elsewhere, which piqued my interest; so I reference them below with a few of my own. The references to my points are available upon request.

I been an ARRAY rebel since late 2016 after seeing 13th and that first season of Queen Sugar. The impact those two made truly changed my life and continue to change my perspective as an artist in the years ahead. It is truly an honor to connect with you, Ava. ONWARD!
Love this!! Once you said art I was in. Would love to know what you think ❤️

You have a beautiful imagination. Love that. And thanks for the welcome and kind words.
I found it…They Came Before Columbus. I know what I’m reading now. Thanks again 👍🏽

@Lola They DID. 'They came before Columbus.' The historian Ivan Van Sertima wrote a book about their travels. Check it out if you can find it.
Well THAT’S AMAZING! American history has been sooooo whitewashed that this kind of information is suppressed. I just wonder where we’d be if slavery never happened. What if racism was destroyed BEFORE colonizers were able to justify slavery using religion. I’d watch that movie.
